Found the world today,
took a few months
peeping up and over
the fence,
up and over this rock fight
and into the stellar buzz
connected
longer than two lungfulls
of lab-synthesised
love, anew.
I did it all on my own,
a particle
vibrating between cello strings
by a river bank,
a speck of dust,
twisting
and dancing in a stream of light
slipped through blinds,
bobbing along
to the droning of of an old fridge
in a quiet kitchen.
A major breakthrough.
But I am a quick forgetter,
ready to return
as a dolphin,
a cold-sore,
a fingernail
or kelp scooped by an oar
and placed back down
in one short stroke,
I say hello
to this brief glimpse
peeping up and over.
